
Wild Things Begin Heavy Home July Schedule

Washington, PA-After a short but successful road swing in Lake Erie, the Washington Wild Things, presented by Washington Financial, return to CONSOL Energy Park for a month filled with baseball and fun entertainment as they play their final nine out of twelve games at home before the 2014 Frontier League All-Star break.
The Wild Things begin a three-game homestand with the Southern Illinois Miners on Wednesday, July 2 for a regularly scheduled doubleheader beginning at 6:05 p.m. And, if the Wild Things win the fans win as all patrons will receive a ticket voucher good for any remaining Monday through Thursday game in 2014. Southern Illinois makes their final appearance in Washington this season on Thursday, July 3. All are invited to celebrate Thirsty Thursday as spectators 21 years of age and older can purchase $1 domestic drafts. Dollar soda will also be available in select sizes.
After a quick trip to Florence for three, the boys of summer return again for a six-game homestand beginning with a 6:05 p.m. doubleheader against the Crushers on Wednesday, July 9th. Once again it's Win-Win Wednesday, and when the Wild Things win everyone in the park will receive a ticket voucher good for any remaining Monday through Thursday game this season. The following day, it's another Thirsty Thursday on July 10th as everyone can enjoy select sizes of dollar drinks.
The fifth fireworks display of the season, presented by Washington Financial, will take place after the game on July 11th. The first-half of the season concludes on Sunday, July 13th as the Wild Things battle the Freedom in a special 5:05 p.m. Sunday start. Kids are invited to come down to the field after the game and run the bases along with postgame team autographs, presented by Goodwill. Fans are also encouraged to bring donation items in exchange for a Wild Things ticket voucher prior to Sunday's start to the Goodwill bins outside the main entrance.
