Wiggins has strong All-Star Game
January 18, 2007 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Tulsa Oilers News Release
Mike Wiggins scored a goal and had an assist for the Northern Conference helping it to a 9-6 win over the South in the Dodge CHL All-Star Game Wednesday night in Bossier-Shreveport.
Wiggins' goal capped a five goal third period for the North, which entered the third period trailing 5-4. He assisted on Mark Wires first period goal that cut the Southern Conference lead to 3-2.
Ironically, The South's last goal was also scored by an Oiler. Kurtis Dulle scored the final goal in the game. The Oilers acquired him last week from Rio Grande Valley in a trade which also saw Matt Medley, selected as an all-star, go to Rio Grande Valley. Medley had a goal and two assists for the North in the all-star game.
The Oilers resume regular season action Friday night at Oklahoma City at 7:35 p.m. in a game that can be heard on KRVT AM 1270 and via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com.
