Wichita Wranglers rain out
May 30, 2006 - Texas League (TL1)
Wichita Wranglers News Release
WICHITA, Kan.-- Tonight's game between the Wichita Wranglers and the Corpus Christi Hooks has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions caused by rain.
The game will be made up as a doubleheader tomorrow, Wednesday, May 31. Gates will open at 4:30pm. The first game will begin at 5pm. The doubleheader will consist of two 7-inning games.
Fans holding tickets to tonight's postponed game may exchange them at the Lawrence-Dumont Stadium box office for a ticket to any remaining Wranglers game during the 2006 regular season.
The Royals Sports Television Network will begin coverage of tomorrow's games at 7:00PM, and would pick up game #1 in progress should it not be completed. RSTN will remain live at Lawrence Dumont Stadium for the remainder of the evening.
All tickets are $5 on Wednesday, and the first 1000 fans will receive a free David DeJesus Royals T-shirt. Hot Dogs and sodas will be $1 all night long.
