(TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Mud Hens will be hosting the FRITOS(r) Brand Chili Cook-Off at Fifth Third Field on Sunday, August 15th prior to the game versus the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees to determine who has the best chili in Toledo.

The cook-off will be a culmination of a season-long contest sponsored by Fritos brand corn chips. Fans were asked to send their recipes to the Hens by the end of June and the finalists were selected with the following criteria in mind:

* Uniqueness of ingredients (20%)

* Ease of preparation (20%)

* Cost per serving (20%) * Up to 100 words on why your chili is the best and a great complement to FRITOS(r) Corn Chips (40%)

**The winner will receive a $500 gift card to Meijer.

Cooking begins on the main concourse at 2:30 pm and the judging will take place at 4:30 pm by a celebrity panel of judges.

The chili will be judged with the following criteria in mind: Taste, Consistency, Aroma, Appearance, Aftertaste

The finalists for the cook-off are: Paula Adam (Toledo) - "Fire in the Hole Chili" Tim Davis (Ann Arbor) - "Rhino's Charging Chili" Becky Pfaltzgraf (Findlay) - "The Pfaltzgraf's Freakin' Fantastic FRITOS & Chili"

The 2010 FRITOS brand Chili Cook-Off event at Fifth Third Field is one of 10 cook-off contests taking place at Minor League Baseball games throughout the U.S. this summer. From Fresno, CA to Little Rock, AR, game day at stadiums across the country will get off to a delicious start thanks to FRITOS Corn Chips and many eager local fans.
