
Chiefs and Clippers Rained Out

Syracuse Mets News Release
Syracuse, N.Y. - Monday night's game between the Syracuse Chiefs and Columbus Clippers has been rained out. The Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, and the Clippers will play a doubleheader Tuesday at Alliance Bank Stadium.
The first game will begin at 5:00. The probable starters for the that game are Jordan Zimmerman (0-0, 0.00) for Syracuse and Yohan Pino (8-6, 5.87) for Columbus.
The second game of the doubleheader will begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the first game. The pitching matchup in that game will be Syracuse's Andrew Kown (1-2, 2.52) against Columbus lefthander Jeremy Sowers (2-6, 5.66).
Each game of the doubleheader will be seven innings.
Monday night's Silly Bandz promotion will still be in effect for Tuesday night's game - the first 500 children 12 & younger through the gates will receive Silly Bandz compliments of Cortland Self Storage, The Chocolate Pizza Company, and Jodi's Hallmark . Dinner at the Diamond happy hour will take place from 6:00pm-7:15pm in the Hank Sauer Room.
Fans who purchased tickets for Monday's game may exchange them at the Chiefs ticket office for a ticket of the same value for any remaining regular season home game during the 2010 season. Season ticket holders should refer to the back of their tickets for the unused season ticket policy.
