WHL Announces Postponement of Chiefs' Game on Friday, January 7

Spokane, Wash. -- The Western Hockey League has announced that the Spokane Chiefs' game on Friday, January 7 versus the Everett Silvertips has been postponed due to inclement weather and impassable travel conditions. The game will be played at a later date yet to be determined.

Tickets to Friday's game will automatically be digitally transferred to the new game date when it is determined. Fans may also exchange those tickets to any of 16 other remaining regular season home games based on availability. Contact the Chiefs' Ticket Office during regular business hours at 509-535-PUCK (7825) to make an exchange.

The Spokane Chiefs are a member of the U.S. Division of the Western Hockey league, the world's finest development league for junior hockey players. Since 1985 the Chiefs have been a pillar in the Spokane community, offering family-friendly entertainment and a winning tradition which includes: two Memorial Cup Championships in 1991 & 2008, two WHL Championships in 1991 & 2008 and four Western Conference Championships in 1991, 1996, 2000 & 2008. The Chiefs' next home game is Friday, January 14 versus the Everett Silvertips.
