With the game tied 3-3, Carl Johnson and Brandon Decker started off the bottom of the fourth with singles. Antonio DeJesus followed with an RBI-double and Wilmer Pino hit into a fielder's choice. David Peralta walked as ball four went to the backstop, allowing DeJesus to score. Leivi Ventura followed with an RBI-single to knock out Sean Keeler (0-1) and Edgar Trejo greeted Kyle Boggio with a two-run double. One out later, Gabriel Ortiz hit an RBI-single. Boggio threw the next eight pitches out of the zone to load the bases, and then, after throwing a strike to DeJesus, Boggio hit DeJesus to force in a run. Pino followed with an RBI-single to cap the inning with the WhiteWings leading 11-3.

The Colts got two runs back in the top of the fifth on Ronnie Gaines' 18th home run of the season, but the WhiteWings scored three runs in the bottom of the inning to take a 14-5 lead.

The Colts scored one run in the sixth, one in the seventh, two in the eighth and five in the ninth against WhiteWings relievers Sendy Vasquez, Jesse Orosco, Wanel Mesa, Danny Rondon and Julio Santana (2-3), including a grand slam by Cory Patton, his first of the season and 19th home run of the year to tie the game at 14-14 in the ninth.

Peralta led off the bottom of the ninth with a double against Josh Giles (1-2) and moved to third on a wild pitch. One out later, Trejo lifted a fly ball to center field to score Peralta.

Peralta finished 3-for-5 with three runs scored while Trejo was 2-for-5 with four RBI.
