July 29, 2007 - United League Baseball (ULB)
Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings News Release
Edinburg, TX - Tonight's doubleheader between the first half champion Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings (38-36, 9-15) and the Edinburg Coyotes (34-40, 8-16) has been cancelled due to rain earlier in the day at Edinburg Stadium causing unsafe playing conditions.
It is unclear whether or not the games will be made up since this is the WhiteWings last trip to Edinburg. They do, however, host the Coyotes for a three-game series August 3-5 and a four-game series August 13-16.
The WhiteWings return home and welcome the Dillas to town for the first of four tomorrow at 7:05 p.m. Kenny Evoniuk (1-2) is expected to start for the WhiteWings.
