Edinburg, TX; July 29, 2007- The Edinburg Coyotes announced today that the doubleheader between the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings and the Edinburg Coyotes at Edinburg Baseball Stadium for Sunday July 29th has been postponed due to rain. No make-up date has been announced.
Monday the Coyotes travel to Laredo to take on the Broncos. Eric Montoya will ride the bump for Edinburg. Laredo has not yet named a starter for the series opener.
The Edinburg Coyotes are members of United League Baseball an independent league of six professional baseball teams located in Texas and Louisiana. The United League is in its second season this summer with teams located in Amarillo, Edinburg, Laredo, Harlingen, and San Angelo, Texas; and Alexandria, Louisiana. The ULB will play a 100-game schedule between May and August 2007.
