
Whitecaps FC Expecting Largest Crowd of the Season for Decision Day, Presented by BCLC, this Saturday

VANCOUVER, BC - BC Place is going to be rocking on MLS Decision Day this Saturday, October 21.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC are expecting the club's largest crowd of the season as the 'Caps host defending MLS Cup champions Los Angeles FC in their regular season finale. The match is presented by BCLC, official gaming partner, and they are giving away rally towels to the first 10,000 fans as well as expanding the BCLC Community Section to 200 seats for local charities and deserving organizations. "It has been an exciting season for our club, winning trophies, scoring plenty of goals, and most of all showing that we can compete with any team in MLS," said Axel Schuster, Whitecaps FC sporting director. "We are thrilled to have our supporters and city behind us as we prepare for the postseason with a huge match against the defending MLS Cup champions."
Kickoff for the Decision Day match will be at 6 p.m. PT, simultaneous to every other match in the Western Conference as playoff positioning is determined.
Whitecaps FC, currently in sixth place in the Western Conference, can secure home field advantage in their Round One Best-of-3 playoff series with a win over LAFC, combined with two of the following three results: Houston Dynamo lose/draw at Portland Timbers, Real Salt Lake lose/draw at Colorado Rapids, or Seattle Sounders FC lose at St. Louis CITY SC.
Playoff dates will be announced on Sunday, following Saturday's matches. Round One matches are scheduled to be played between October 28 and November 12.
