Rockford IceHogs News Release
Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 vs. Grand Rapids Griffins
Time: 7 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. (Blue Flame Lounge at 5:15 p.m.)
Blues Flame Friday: Those 21-and-older can get their weekend started early at the BMO at the Blues Flame Lounge Pre-Game Party. Dan Phelps will be performing while guests enjoy free appetizers and special happy hour drink specials. Fans with a game ticket must enter through the upper-concourse level entrance on Elm St. near the box office. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and only the first 150 will be permitted.
White Out/T-Shirt Giveaway: It's "White Out" night at the BMO Harris Bank Center! Fans are encouraged to wear white in support of the home team. The first 2,500 fans to enter the BMO will receive a white IceHogs t-shirt courtesy of Toyota.
Matchup: The IceHogs are back in action after the AHL All-Star break. Rockford will be facing the Grand Rapids Griffins for a home-and-home weekend series. The Central Division-leading IceHogs will look to offensive powerhouse, Mark McNeill, to lead the team to victory. McNeill is currently in the midst of a team season-high nine-game point streak, which also ties him for the third longest point streak in the AHL this season. Grand Rapids has recently hit a road-block, falling short in seven out of their last ten games after a stretch of 15-straight victories from Nov. 18-Dec. 26.
Tickets: Tickets for Friday's game can be purchased at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office or any Ticketmaster location, by phone (815 968-5222) or online at www.icehogs.com.
Broadcast Information: All games are broadcast locally live on WIFR's Justice Network on 23.3, and online through AHLLive.com. To listen to a free audio broadcast, tune in through WXRX.com or use the IceHogs app. Follow along on Twitter (@goicehogs) for live updates throughout the game.
