Flames Recall Jakub Nakladal from Stockton, Assign Mason Raymond to Stockton

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have recalled defenseman Jakub Nakladal from their AHL affiliate, the Stockton Heat. The Flames also announced that they have assigned forward Mason Raymond to Stockton.

Nakladal, a native of Pardubice, Czech Republic, has played 35 games for Stockton this season where he leads all Heat blueliners in assists (12) and has added a pair of goals for 14 points. The 28-year-old was signed as a free agent by the Flames in May 2015 after spending the 2014-15 season with TPS Turku in the Finland and then featuring for the Czech Republic at the 2015 World Hockey Championships.

ACQUIRED: Signed as a free agent on May 19, 2015

Raymond, 30, is a veteran of 542 NHL games with the Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs and Calgary Flames. Selected in the second round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by Vancouver, Raymond has totaled 251 NHL points to go along with 21 points in 31 games while playing for the Manitoba Moose of the AHL in the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons.
