Wheat Kings Unveil Camp Schedule

Brandon, MB. - The Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings have unveiled the tentative schedule for their 2011 Training Camp, scheduled for the upcoming week at Westman Communications Group Place.

While the veterans are expected to report on Monday for fitness testing on the following three days, the Camp will officially kick off with Rookie registration on Tuesday, August 30th, with the first on ice sessions scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 31st.

Following is the tentative schedule for this week's camp:

Rookie Camp

Tuesday August 30th

7:00 PM Registration

Wednesday August 31st

8:00 AM Team White Practice

9:30 AM Team Black vs. Team Gold

5:00 PM Team Black Practice

6:30 PM Team White vs. Team Gold

Thursday September 1st

9:00 AM Team Gold Practice

10:30 AM Team White vs. Team Black

12:15 PM Goalie Session

6:00 PM Rookie Camp Intra-squad Game

Main Camp

Friday September 2nd

8:00 AM Team White Practice

9:30 AM Goalie Session

10:30 Team Black vs. Team Gold

5:00 PM Team Black Practice

6:30 PM Team White vs. Team Gold

Saturday September 3rd

8:00 AM Team Gold Practice

9:30 AM Team White vs. Team Black

6:00 PM Intra-squad Game

Sunday September 4th

2:00 PM Canad Inns Intra-squad game
