What to Watch for vs. New York Riptide

Hamilton, ON - The Toronto Rock (6-4) take on the New York Riptide (2-7) tonight at FirstOntario Centre. The Riptide upset the Rock last weekend on Long Island, so the Rock will be looking for revenge. The home side will finally have a true home floor advantage, playing in front of the Rock City faithful for the first time in 2022.

Here's what to watch for in tonight's matchup.
Rock forward Dan Dawson will play in his 305th NLL game tonight, tying him for the most career games played with John Tavares. He's also only 6 assists away from passing Tavares for the all-time assists record.
Former Rock Damon Edwards scored two key transition goals early in the game for his new club, the Riptide. Another former Rock, Kieran McArdle also scored last weekend for New York.
Nick Rose was pulled in the loss to New York. The last time 66 didn't finish a game, Rose bounced back with a 45 save performance, allowing just 8 goals in a win over Rochester.
Tom Schreiber has the most goals in the NLL with 28 and has played less games than those chasing him. With 8 games remaining, Schreiber is 23 goals away from breaking Brett Hickey's Rock single season record of 50 goals, set in 2015.
The Rock's next home game will be an early 5pm start time against Georgia on Sat. March 26.
