
Western Conference Finals - Game 5 Preview: Guelph Storm vs. Saginaw Spirit

Guelph Storm News Release
Game 5 between the Guelph Storm and the Saginaw Spirit goes Friday April 26th at 7:05pm in Saginaw, as the Spirit lead the Western Finals series 3-1.
The Storm won game three in Guelph 5-2 after a big third period that started with an early goal by Cedric Ralph, before Nate Schnarr and Keegan Stevenson scored to give the Storm a 5-2 win.
In game four, the Spirit were able to jump out to a 3-0 lead heading into the final period of action. Dmitri Samorukov scored early in the third period to give the Storm their first goal of the night, but a goal by Cole Perfetti half way through the period gave the Spirit a 4-1 win and a commanding 3-1 series lead.

Albert Michnac was drafted by the Guelph in 2016 and scored 39 points in 65 games for the Storm. Albert then contributed 59 points in 60 games last season for the Mississauga Steelheads, before being traded to Saginaw.
