
Westchester Picks up First Playoff Win in Franchise History

WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks (30-21), the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, ended the Windy City Bulls' season (27-24), 95-82, in the first round of the 2019 NBA G League Playoffs, Wednesday evening at the Westchester County Center.
Billy Garrett (20 points, 12 assists), Jameel Warney (20 points, 14 rebounds) and Zak Irvin (19 points, 14 rebounds) all earned a double-double in the win. New York Knicks assignee, Luke Kornet, added 14 points and nine boards.
For the Bulls, Walter Lemon Jr. put up 29 points and a team-high seven assists. JaKarr Sampson added 29 points and seven assists while Mychal Mulder added 20 points and eight rebounds.
The Knicks led from start to finish and held a lead as large as 17 points.
Westchester's next opponent is no. Lakeland Magic. The second-round action is slated for Friday, March 29 at 7 PM (ET).
