Westchester Knicks News Release
WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, reacquired Buay Tuach from the available player pool as announced by the team Wednesday afternoon.
After being acquired by the Westchester Knicks prior to the start of the 2018-19 season, Tuach, 6'6, 185, averaged 4.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists in two games. He sustained a right foot fracture sidelining him for the next 12 games before being waived by the Knicks on December 6.
Tuach went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft after spending two years at Northeast Community College (2103-15) and Loyola Marymount (2015-17). He spent time with Phoenix Hagen of the German ProA and was selected by the Long Island Nets in the 2017 NBA G League Draft. He was waived by the Nets on November 2, 2017 and was acquired by Westchester four days later.
Tuach will wear number 17 again.
The Knicks open a two-game homestand Friday, February 8 against the Canton Charge. The action at the Westchester County Center begins at 7:00 PM.
