
Welsch Stops All 21 in Wings Friday Win

Henry Welsch stopped all 21 shots that came his way for his second shutout of the season as the Wings maintained their seven-point lead in the Central Division. After a scoreless 1st period, the Wings scored the first goal of the game and the eventual game-winner from Riley Murphy midway through the 2nd period. In the 3rd period, Natan Vertes and Jake Beaune added goals to make it a 3-0 final. Isak Johansson made 32 saves in the loss for the Wilderness.
The two teams will meet again tonight in Minnesota. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05pm. You can watch the game at Buffalo Wings & Rings in Aberdeen or by logging on to HockeyTV.com.
