Hawks Honor Coach with a Shutout

Johnstown, PA. - RW Bennett Stockdale (Ottawa, ONT) recorded his second game winning goal in as many nights and goaltender Alex Tracy (Chicago, IL) recorded his third shutout of the season with a perfect 30-save effort as the Hawks completed the series sweep of the Rebels on Saturday night at 1ST SUMMIT Arena.

The game drew the second biggest crowd of the year with 3,142 fans as the team honored their long time standing head coach Mike Letizia (Somerset, PA) with a bobble head giveaway.

The Hawks, who extended their unbeaten streak to four games, improved their overall record to 30-13-2-2 heading into the all-star break. SCORING BREAKDOWN: 1st Period Recap No Score Shots On Goal: Rebels 14 - Hawks 6

In the team's 467 regular season games played in Hawks franchise history, this marked only the 3rd time that the team has won by the score of 1-0. (Dec 4, 2015 vs NJ Titans and Dec 11, 2016 vs WBS Knights)
