A Welcome Party at Volcanoes Stadium will be held beginning at 5:30pm on this Wednesday, June 15, 2011, for the 2011 Salem-Keizer Volcanoes team. The team is arriving at Portland International Airport at approximately 4:30pm and will be arriving at the Stadium for the first time around 6:00pm on the 15th.

Fans are encouraged to welcome the team to town by attending the Welcome Party. Free Admission, Free Parking . "This will be a fun way to show our support of the team and let them know we're excited for the season to begin," said Jerry Howard, Senior Marketing Representative for the team. "It can be like an after work mixer or social, just a fun time to get revved up for the season," concluded Howard.

The Volcanoes Stadium ticket office will be open during the Welcome Party to allow fans an additional opportunity to pickup their tickets prior to the teams first game on Thursday, June 16, versus the College All Stars beginning at 6:35pm, Gates open 5:30pm. The Stadium Pro Shop and concession stand will be open as well.
