Corpus Christi Hooks News Release
CORPUS CHRISTI - Alrighty, our boys are ALMOST home.
While they were out capturing the Texas League South Division first-half title and qualifying for the playoffs for the fourth time since 2012, perhaps you were catching up on summer projects or even taking a little vacation.
Now it's time to refocus. The Hooks will be home in eight days. Are you ready?

Thursday, June 30, Springfield Cardinals @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:35)
-The first 2,000 fans take home a Hooks Camo Cap from IBC Bank.
-Thirsty Thursday (discounted soda and beer), from Stripes.
-Military Appreciation Night; Patriot Guard Riders present the colors and representatives of each service branch combine on a ceremonial first pitch.
-After 8:30 a.m. on the 30th, go to the Stripes Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/stripesstores to learn the Stripes Thirsty Thursday Word of the Day. Later that day or night, repeat the word at the Whataburger Field box office and receive a free Hooks Thirsty Thursday reserved-seat or general admission ticket for each Thirsty Thursday ticket purchased.
