--TO COMPLETE THE SWEEP OF 4-GAMES IN 6-NIGHTS THE PAST WEEK, THE ICEMEN SWELLED THEIR LATEST WIN STREAK TO 6-IN A ROW, EQUALING THEIRS AND THE CHL'S LONGEST WINNING STREAKS OF THE SEASON.

--EVANSVILLE'S LAST TASTE OF THE BITTER HERB OF DEFEAT WAS BACK ON FEBRUARY 8TH WHEN THEY BOWED AT HOME TO FORT WAYNE, 4-3.

--THE FIRST PLACE ICEMEN HAVE WON 7 OF THEIR LAST 8-STARTS; LAST 8(7-1-0); IN THEIR LAST 23-GAMES, THE ICEMEN MARK STANDS AT 23(17-4-2).

--AFTER ENDURING A SEASON-HIGH 3-GAME LOSING STREAK AT HOME, THE ICEMEN HAVE COME BACK AND WON THEIR LAST 2-HOME STARTS AT THE FORD CENTER.

--ON THE ROAD, THE ICEMEN HAVE COMPOSED THEIR LONGEST WIN STREAK OF THE SEASON AT 5-IN A ROW WITH THEIR LAST LOSS ABROAD BEING BACK LAST MONTH ON JANUARY 28TH IN DAYTON WHERE THEY BOWED TO THE GEMS, 4-3.

--THE ICEMEN ARE CURRENTLY ON A 6-GAME WIN STREAK AGAINST BERRY CONFERENCE COMPETITION AND ARE 9(8-1-0) OVERALL AGAINST THE BERRY CONFERENCE OPPOSITION. LAST YEAR, THEIR RECORD OUTSIDE THEIR OWN CONFERENCE WAS AN ANEMIC 13(3-9-1).

--THE ICEMEN ALSO COMPLETED A SWEEP OF A RATHER ARDUOUS 4-GAME SOUTHERN ROAD EXPEDITION THE PAST WEEK, POSTING A PERFECT 4(4-0-0) MARK WITH TWO TRIUMPHS IN TULSA AND TWO MORE ON CONSECUTIVE NIGHTS IN RIO GRANDE VALLEY.

--THE ICEMEN FIRST PLACE RECORD FOR THE SEASON STANDS AT 49(32-13-4) 68-POINTS. ONE YEAR AGO AFTER 49-GAMES, THEIR RECORD WAS 49(16-26-7) 39-POINTS. THE ICEMEN HAVE DOUBLED THEIR TOTAL NUMBER OF WINS FROM ONE YEAR AGO (16 TO 32); HAVE HALF THE NUMBER OF DEFEATS (26 TO 13) AND 29-MORE POINTS (39 TO 68).

--EVANSVILLE'S FINAL RECORD LAST SEASON WAS 66(21-32-13) 55-POINTS. WITH STILL 17-GAMES REMAINING FOR THIS SEASON, THE ICEMEN HAVE 11-MORE WINS, 13-MORE POINTS AND 19-LESS LOSSES THAN ALL OF LAST SEASON.

--AT HOME, THE ICEMEN RECORD IS 25(17-7-1) 35-POINTS. LAST YEAR'S HOME RECORD FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON WAS 30(11-13-6) 28-POINTS. ON THE ROAD LAST SEASON, THE ICEMEN RECORD WAS 36(10-19-7) 27-POINTS. THIS YEAR'S ROAD RECORD IS 24(15-6-3) 33-POINTS WITH STILL 9-MORE ROAD GAMES REMAINING.

--EVANSVILLE'S ROAD RECORD OF 24(15-6-3) IS THE BEST IN THE TURNER CONFERENCE AND SECOND BEST IN THE ENTIRE CHL.

--DURING THEIR 6-GAME WIN STREAK, THE ICEMEN HAVE ALLOTTED ONLY 10-GA FOR A GAA OF 1.67. IN REGISTERING A RECORD OF 8(7-1-0) IN THEIR LAST 8-OUTINGS, THE ICEMEN HAVE ALLOWED ONLY 18-GA FOR A GAA OF A STINGY AND STELLAR 2.25.

--THE ICEMEN REMAIN UNDEFEATED ON BOTH TUESDAY 6(5-0-1) AND SUNDAY 8(7-0-1) THUS FAR THIS SEASON FOR A COMBINED RECORD IN THIS DEPARTMENT OF 14(12-0-2).

--THE LEAGUE'S LEDAING SCORER TODD ROBINSON 49(17-54-71) IS CURRENTLY ON HIS SECOND 10-GAME POINT STREAK OF THE SEASON; 10(6-11-17). ROBINSON HAS MAESTROED 17-MULTI-POINT GAMES WHILE HIS 54-ASSISTS ARE 14-MORE THAN THE REST OF THE CHL AND HIS 23-PPA ALSO PACE THE LOOP.

--BRIAN BICEK, RANKED 9TH IN CHL SCORING WITH 49(31-22-53), LEADS THE CHL IN GOAL-CANNONEERING WITH 31 WITH 25 OF THOSE GOALS STRUCK IN THE LAST 31-GAMES. BICEK IS ON A 10-GAME POINT STREAK AS WELL WITH 10(8-4-12). HE RECENTLY COMPLETED HIS SECOND 5-GAME GOAL STREAK OF THE SEASON WITH 5(6-1-7). BICEK'S +20 RATING IS THE BEST ON THE ICEMEN CLUB AND RANKS AS 5TH BEST IN THE CHL.

---STEVE MAKWAY 47(4-33-37) AND MATT GENS 49(8-26-34) RANK 1-2 IN CHL DEFENSE SCORING WITH MAKWAY'S 33-ASSISTS AND GENS 26-HELPERS ALSO RUNNING 1-2 IN THE LOOP.

--GOALTENDER PIER-OLIVIER PELLETIER SEVERED HIS 6-GAME PERSONAL WINLESS STREAK; 6(0-5-1) BY BACKSTOPPING HIS TEAM TO 3 OF ITS 4-CONSECUTIVE VICTORIES ON THE RECENTLY CONCLUDED 4-GAME SOUTHERN ROAD SWING; 3(3-0-0) WITH A GAA OF A THRIFTY 1.92.

--ROOKIE SENSATION BRYAN GILLIS CONTINUES TO RADIATE IN GOAL FOR THE ICEMEN. HIS LATEST WIN STREAK IS 4-IN A ROW, HE IS 15(14-1-0) IN HIS LAST 15-STARTS AND HAS BEEN IN GOAL FOR 16 OF THE ICEMEN LAST 19-VICTORIES. HE ALSO HAS POSTED THE CHL'S BEST ROAD RECORD AT 10(9-1-0); AT HOME: 16(12-3-1). HIS GAA OF 2.29 RANKS LEAGUE-WIDE THIRD BEST; HIS SPCT OF .927 ALSO RANKS #3 IN THE CHL. HIS 26(21-4-1) MARK AND .827 WIN PERCENATGE ARE THE BEST IN THE LEAGUE.

--RIGHT WING SEAN O'CONNOR HAS FIRED 3-GOALS IN THE LAST 4-GAMES; 4(3-1-4).

--TODD ROBINSON HAS DELIVERED ALL 3 OF HIS SEASON'S GWG OVER THE SPAN OF THE ICEMEN LAST 7-VICTORIES.

--THE ICEMEN COLLECTIVE TEAM TOTAL OF 10-SHG RANK AS THIRD MOST IN THE CHL WITH BRIAN BICEK TOPPING THE CHL WITH 4-SHG AND TODD ROBINSON TIED FOR #2 BEST WITH 3-SHG.
