Tuesday, February 14th - Americans 0 Texas 4 Final

Allen, Texas - The Brahmas took advantage of a depleted Allen lineup, beating the Americans for the first time ever, in regulation, at the Allen Event Center by a score of 4-0 on Tuesday night. The Brahmas held a late 2-0 third period lead before a 5-3 power play goal, followed by an empty net goal, extended the Texas lead. The Americans were without several of their top players, including Bruce Graham, Colton Yellow Horn, Jim McKenzie, Tyler Ludwig, Adam Pineault, Ben Wilson, Keith Johnson and Trevor Ludwig, out for various injuries.

Friday, February 17th - Americans 2 Dayton 1 Final SO

Dayton, Ohio - The Allen Americans tied the game late in the third on a goal by Jarret Lukin, and won it in a shootout as Marco Cousineau stopped 37 of 38 Dayton shots. Former Americans forward Dave Nimmo had the only Dayton goal. This was the first ever meeting between the two clubs.

Saturday, February 18th - Americans 3 Fort Wayne 2 SO

Fort Wayne, Indiana - The Allen Americans defeated the Fort Wayne Komets by a score of 3-2 in a shootout on Saturday night, in front of nearly 9,000 fans at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Colton Yellow Horn put the Americans on the board first in the second period, with his 21st goal of the season. Trevor Hendrikx made it 2-0 in the third, before the Komets rallied to tie it late. For the second night in a row, Marco Cousineau stood strong in a shootout as the Americans defeated the Komets in the first ever meeting between the two clubs.


- Bruce Graham, despite being on the IR, remains tied for fifth in the CHL in scoring with 58 points. (25 goals, 33 assists)

- Jim McKenzie is 3rd in the CHL in +/- with a +21 for the season.

- Nick Layton is 4th in the CHL in Rookie points with 36. (13 goals, 23 assists)

- Rejean Beauchemin has the 2nd best GAA in the CHL at 2.12, and second best SV% at .928

- Jason Deitsch is seventh in the CHL in assists with 36. And tied for 22nd in points with 46

- Nick Layton has the Americans current longest points streak at two games with 2 assists and 0 goals
