New Jersey Titans News Release
The New Jersey Titans have taken to the road for another trip away from Middletown, this time heading north to Rochester for the first time in franchise history. The two game set in Western New York is the last scheduled meeting between New Jersey and the Rochester Jr. Americans in the regular season.
Earlier, New Jersey hosted Rochester on September 29th and 30th in the Garden State, where the team split their first two games. The Titans were victorious in their home opener over the Americans by a score of 5-1. Ethan Wongus had a goal and two assists, while the Titans featured four other goal scorers and Dylan Krick stopped 31 of 32 shots on goal.
The second game saw the Jr Americans avenge their loss the previous night, jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first seven minutes of the game en route to a 5-2 victory. Brian Robertson and Reece Brednich recorded the only goals for the Titans.
New Jersey has gone 1-3-0 since that weekend's games, sliding to a 6-8-0 record and 7th place in the 9 team East Division. Idle last weekend, Rochester is riding a three game winning streak and have moved into 6th in the division.
Faceoff is scheduled for 8:00pm tonight, October 20th, and 7:30pm tomorrow the 21st. Both games can be seen live on NAHLtv.
