Anchorage Wolverines defeated in game one against the Janesville Jets
The Anchorage Wolverines lost 4-1 in game one against Janesville Jets. After a scoreless first period, Noah Gibbs and Merril Steenari of Janesville put two in the back of the net in the second forcing Anchorage to leave the ice down two.
Janesville's Nick Sajevic came in quick in the final contest, firing the puck 40 seconds into the third, giving Janesville a 3-0 advantage.
Fedya Nikolayenya secured Anchorage's only goal of the night, assisted by Jack Darby and Jackson Stimple.
Janesville finalized the score in the 17th minute when Steeneri sniped his second of the night.
