Arizona linebacker Ricky Wyatt Jr. led the way for the Rattlers defense to contain Tucson's offense. Wyatt Jr. had nine total tackles, eight of which were solo, and got to the quarterback twice, one recording a sack and another for a safety. Early in the first quarter, the Sugar Skulls found themselves pinned back at their own four-yard line and Wyatt Jr. capitalized sacking the quarterback in the endzone for a safety to extend their lead to 9-0. Wyatt Jr. and the Rattlers would go on to win 44-34.
