Shock Jump to Second After Week 8 in Coahes Poll

The Indoor Football League presented its weekly Coaches Poll of the 2021 season entering week eight. The panel is represented by the 11 head coaches of each team across the league.

After a 50-32 victory over the Sioux Falls Storm, the Spokane Shock move up to the second spot in the week eight edition of the IFL Coaches Poll. The Shock are riding a three-game win streak after their loss to the Frisco Fighters in week one. Spokane's offense averages 39.8 points per game with the defense only allowing 29.5 points, which marks the lowest average of points any defense is allowing in the IFL.

The Frisco Fighters find themselves in the number one spot for the third straight week and are the only remaining team with an undefeated record. The Fighters rank in the top-five in production for passing and rushing along with the third best defense in the league giving up 36.8 points per game.

Each coach submits a list ranking the teams with first-place votes earning one point, second place two points and so on to 11 points for 11th.
