Thursday, July 6th - Throwback Thursday, presented by Brandt

Time to turn back the clock! A full-retro feel is coming to Mosaic Stadium as we introduce a brand-new theme, Throwback Thursday, presented by Brandt.

Fresh off a bye week and a thrilling overtime victory against the Calgary Stampeders in Week 3 on the road, the Riders return to Mosaic Stadium to face a familiar foe, the Edmonton Elks. The Green and White were triumphant against the Elks in a hard-fought Week 1 victory and will look to repeat that success with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m.

We're going all-in on this totally tubular new theme, wearing our fan favourite retro uniforms. It's the perfect game to sport the name of your favourite Rider legend on your back, dust off your favourite piece of nostalgic Rider gear, or head over to the Rider Store to find a perfect item with that retro feel and really immerse yourself in the experience.

Complete your throwback outfit with a pair of our FREE Rider Retro Sunglasses! Only the first 5,000 fans through the gates will get one, so be there when the gates open at 5:30 p.m.!

Get ready to rock the halftime show with Saskatchewan's very own, the Northern Pikes, as the Pepsi Summer Concert Series continues its electrifying lineup! The band has one platinum album, four gold albums, and eight hit singles, including 'She Aint' Pretty,' to leave a long-lasting imprint on rock and pop fans across Canada. The Northern Pikes were inducted into the Western Canadian Hall of Fame in 2012 and have five Juno Award nominations.

Coors Light Party in the Park starts at 4p.m. with an amazing new addition: Happy Hour(s) at Mosaic!

That's right, domestic beer is just $5.00 at Party in the Park starting at 4 p.m. and in the stadium from gates open until kick-off! Gather your friends, head to the park early to enjoy a couple of refreshing beverages together!

And while you're there, not one, but two Rider legends will be in the house to sign autographs! Offensive line All-Stars Roger Aldag and Bob Poley will make an appearance at 5:30 p.m. to sign your favourite piece of retro gear! Don't miss this exclusive chance to meet these iconic players and add a touch of history to your prized memorabilia!

The name of the game at Party in the Park is dodgeball! This week we are hosting a dodgeball game at the park! You must be at least 16 years of age to register, and it is FREE! Fans will get a special throwback dodgeball t-shirt and more. Sign up here! The game is set to begin at 5:30 p.m.

The jam-packed Party in the Park will also feature the 80's rock and roll cover band, Vinyl Society! Boogie to all your favourite hits from Motely Crue, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, and more! Along with face painting, balloon artists, trivia games, inflatables, and more, Party in the Park has something for the whole family!

During pre-game, the 620 CKRM Rider Pep Band and the 620 CKRM Rider Cheer Team will take the field for performances, setting the tone with infectious energy and entertainment!

Your phone is your ticket! Don't forget to download the Rider App, powered by SaskTel, onto your smartphone and have your digital tickets ready before you come to Mosaic Stadium. We promise it's easy, but we created a tutorial video here and have a full FAQ and written tutorial at Riderville.com, just in case!

Please do NOT bring Large Purses, backpacks, or camera bags as they are prohibited. Thereis a clear bag policy for all Saskatchewan Roughrider games. Each fan, including children, can bring in one clear bag sized 12" x 6" x 12" or smaller. More details on the clear bag policy can be found here.

Bike Valet! Whether you arrive at the stadium on four wheels or two, there are options available! The bike valet opens at 5:00 p.m. on game day and is staffed by volunteers through REAL. The bikes are inside a fenced compound that is monitored throughout its hours of operation. Please note that your bike must be picked up within one hour after the game ends. The bike valet is located by the South West exterior of the Stadium by Gate 1.

In transit? Rider Transit presented by WorkSafe Saskatchewan is available to get you to Mosaic Stadium safely and easily! Free bus transit is available from various locations across the city Southland Mall, University of Regina, Warehouse district, the Delta Hotel, Victoria Ave and Scarth Street and the Turvey Centre, starting two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff time.

With construction continuing on Lewvan and Saskatchewan Drive, we encourage fans to consider alternate forms of transportation and arrive early on game day! Remember, we have a giveaway and lots of Party in the Park activities to keep you company!

Week 5

While the team had a bye week and did not play in Week 4, several players were at the top or near the top in many statistical categories at the conclusion of Week 3. The Club will look to keep things rolling in Week 5.

On offence, quarterback Trevor Harris led the league in passing yards with 867 yards and was tied for the league lead with five passing touchdowns. Running back Jamal Morrow generated 133 rushing yards against Calgary to lead the league with 233 yards in three games.

The wide receiver trio of Shawn Bane Jr., Tevin Jones, and Sam Emilus all placed in the top 12 in receiving yards, with Bane Jr. ranking third in the CFL with 245 yards and second with 149 yards after the catch. Emilus tied for the league lead with three receiving touchdowns.

Middle linebacker Larry Dean was second in the CFL with 23 defensive tackles and defensive back Amari Henderson was also tied for second with three pass knockdowns. Halfback Rolan Milligan has 20 defensive plays (15 tackles, two interceptions, two pass knockdowns, and one tackle for loss) to rank fifth in the league.
