The Huntsville Havoc dropped two games on the road 5-2 in Knoxville on Tuesday and 7-3 in Jacksonville on Friday before rebounding with a 4-3 win over Pee Dee on Saturday.

Tuesday, March 20 - Huntsville 2, Knoxville 5

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Doug Searle scored two goals for the Knoxville Ice Bears as they beat the Huntsville Havoc 5-2 Tuesday night.

Bill McCreary and James Patterson scored for the Havoc, while Kevin Swider, Matt Kohansky and Tim Vitek all had one goal each for Knoxville.

Terry Dunbar got the win for Knoxville, he stopped 29 shots. Matt Carmichael started for the Havoc. He allowed all five goals and made 17 saves. Nick Nidert played 36:12 and stopped all 31 shots he faced.

Knoxville outshot Huntsville 53-31 and both team converted one powerplay.

Friday, March 23 - Huntsville 3, Jacksonville 7

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Kahlil Thomas, Pat Doherty and Jim Murphy all scored two goals as the Jacksonville Barracudas rallied from down 3-1 to score a 7-3 win over the Huntsville Havoc Friday night.

Craig Bushey, Travis Kauffeldt and Bill McCreary all scored for the Havoc, but once again penalties and the penalty kill sealed their fate. Huntsville was whisted for 37 penalty minutes to only 17 for the Barracudas.

Jacksonville converted 3-of-8 power plays while Huntsville was 0-of-3.

Nick Niedert took the loss stopping 39 shots while Ryan Person stopped 36 in the loss.

Saturday, March 24 - Pee Dee 3, Huntsville 4

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Huntsville Havoc got two goals from Dan Buccella on their way to a 4-3 win over the Pee Dee Cyclones Saturday night in front of 4,356 fans.

Buccella scored his first goal with 7:34 left in the first period. John Gurskis tied the game with 5:58 left and the score was tied 1-1 after the first period.

Chris Rebernik gave the Cyclones a 2-1 lead with 8:17 left in the second before the Havoc tied the game at 2-2 when Trevor Karasiewicz scored with 6:16 left. Craig Bushey gave the Havoc a 3-2 at the end of the second when he scored with :50 left.

Buccella gave Huntsville a two-goal lead with 16:52 left and Daryl Moore cut the lead to 4-3 with 7:44 to go.

The Havoc outshot Pee Dee 39-12 but failed to convert on three power play chances. Pee Dee was 1-of-2 with the man advantage.

Matt Carmichael stopped nine shots in the win while Leni DiCostanzo stopped 35 in the loss.
