The Huntsville Havoc dropped two games on the road 4-1 in Knoxville on Thursday and 1-0 in Columbus on Friday before rebounding with a 6-2 win over Richmond on Saturday.

Thursday, March 15 - Huntsville 1, Knoxville 4

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - David Segal scored two goals as the Knoxville Ice Bears beat the Huntsville Havoc 4-1 Thursday night.

Mike Craigen and Bob Rangus also added goals for Knoxville. Craig Bushey scored the only goal for the Havoc.

Knoxville was 2-of-8 on the powerplay while the Havoc could not take advantage of 10 opportunities. Matt Carmichael stopped 31 shots in the loss while Terry Dunbar stopped 26 in the win.

Friday, March 16 - Huntsville 0, Columbus 1

COLUMBUS, Ga. - Lorne Misita broke a 0-0 tie with a powerplay goal with 8:24 left in the game giving the Columbus Cottonmouths a 1-0 win over the Huntsville Havoc Friday night.

Huntsville failed to convert on all 12 powerplay chances and were outshot by Columbus 40-25 including a 16-2 mark in the second period.

Ryan Senft made all 25 saves to get the win. Matt Carmichael made 39 in the loss.

Saturday, March 17 - Richmond 2, Huntsville 6

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Huntsville Havoc scored six unanswered goals on their way to a 6-2 win over the Richmond Renegades Saturday night in front of 4,051 fans.

The Renegades took a 2-0 lead on a Drew Madeiros even strength goal in the first period and Phillip Youngclaus short-handed goal in the second period.

The Havoc responded with consecutive short-handed goals by James Patterson to finish the second period.

Mike O'Sullivan gave the Havoc a 3-2 lead just :30 into the third period. Justin Schmit made the score 4-2 with 6:02 left before Dan Pszenyczny scored on the powerplay with 2:59 left. Bill Monkman finished the scoring with :37 left in the game.

Travis Kauffeldt and Monkman both had two assists for Huntsville.

Nick Niedert got the win in goal for Huntsville stopping 31 shots. Doug Groenestege stopped 29 in the loss.
