Huntsville Havoc News Release
Huntsville 2, Knoxville 3 - Shootout
KNOXVILLE, TN - Sixty minutes of regulation, five minutes of overtime and the regulation three shootouts was not enough to determine the winner of the Huntsville Havoc, Knoxville Ice Bears game Friday night.
The teams went to two extra shots in the shootout before the Ice Bears came away with the 3-2 win. James Patterson and Dan Buccella scored goals for Huntsville while Marcus Forsberg scored both Knoxville goals. Patterson was the only Havoc player to score in the shootout while Mike Craigen and K.C. Caudill scored for Knoxville.
Huntsville goalie, Matt Carmichael, and Knoxville goalie, Terry Dunbar, both had 38 saves in the game.
Huntsville 2, Macon 0
MACON, GA - Matt Carmichael stopped 23 shots in his first shutout of the season as the Huntsville Havoc blanked the Macon Trax 2-0 Saturday night.
Mike Degurse scored on a Huntsville power play at 12:45 in the second period. Dan Buccella and James Patterson had assists. Buccella added an even strength goal with 9:59 left in the game with an assist from Jeff Dams.
Huntsville was 1-of-4 on the power play while Macon was 0-of-1.

Saturday, February 5 - MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT - The Havoc will be wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned off immediately after the game. Proceeds will go to the Army's Emergency Relief Fund. The game is sponsored by CAS Systems, Intergraph, BAE Systems, Applied Data Trends, Westwind Technologies, Jacobs Sverdrup and AUSA.
