Kinston Indians News Release
Alex White (1-1, 0.00 ERA) gets the start tonight for the K-Tribe at Wilmington, DE.
Fourth and Four- Kinston had their biggest inning of the season in the 4th inning last night, scoring a season-high four runs on four hits and sending a season-high 10 batters to the plate in the inning. Two runs scored on a Kyle Bellows two-RBI single, and the other two scored on bases loaded walks to Karexon Sanchez and Donnie Webb. Adam Davis (0-for-4) was the lone Indians batter not to reach base safely in the game.
Zeroing In - Kinston pitching continues to be strong even during a rough start to the season. Last night, both Nick Hagadone and T.J. McFarland continued their strings of not allowing an earned run this season. Tonight's starter, Alex White, hasn't allowed an earned run in 9 1/3 innings this season. Relievers Bryce Stowell and Matt Langwell are also yet to surrender earned runs.
