Milwaukee Wave News Release
The Six Time Champion Milwaukee Wave is ready to 'Sham-Rock' UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena Sunday afternoon as they face the St. Louis Ambush at 1:05pm.
"We continue to work hard," said Milwaukee Wave Assistant Coach Marcelo Fontana. "One of our goals was to clinch the division; we did that. Now we're looking to get home field advantage in the playoffs."
This will be the fourth of five games between Milwaukee and St. Louis this season with the Wave holding a 3-0 advantage in the season series.
"When the opportunity presents itself to join the attack, they recognize it and do a good job of it," said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "Their commitment to defense this year has been better than in last year. To win a championship, you've got to be good on the defensive side of the ball, not just the offensive side."
Tickets are available at MilwaukeeWave.com and at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena Box Office before the game.
