Fresh off their victory against the Florida Tropics on Saturday, the 7-Time Champion Milwaukee Wave are ready to face one of the newest teams in the Major Arena Soccer League, the Mesquite Outlaws. Kick off is scheduled for 3:07pm from UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.

"We as a team have been studying game tape in preparation for Tuesday's game," said Milwaukee Wave Assistant Coach Marcelo Fontana. "This is a team we have never played against before so we've been trying to pick up on player tendencies while focusing on what we need to do. We have to be prepared for whatever Mesquite throws at us."

The Outlaws are fresh off a win against the rival Dallas Sidekicks (12/26) and enters Tuesday's contest with a 2-2 record, that's good for 3rd in the MASL Western Conference.

The Wave is on a two game winning streak after defeating the Orlando SeaWolves (12/21) and Florida Tropics (12/28). Milwaukee has a 4-1 record and sits second in the MASL Eastern Conference.

"I've been part of the New Year's Eve game for 13 years!" said Milwaukee Wave Defender #77 Marcio Leite. "Us as players really want to win this game because it dictates how the New Year is going to be. You add in the fans and all the excitement, it's makes for a great experience for everyone. We're looking forward to it."
