12/4 @ Milwaukee Wave 4, Storm 3 Attendance – 3,124

Forward Greg Howes scored at 14:14 of the fourth quarter to break a 3-3 tie and propel the Milwaukee Wave to a 4-3 win over the Chicago Storm in a Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) game Saturday night (12/4) at U.S. Cellular Arena. A crowd of 3,124 saw Milwaukee (7-2) rally from a pair of two-goal fourth quarter deficits to eventually beat the Storm (5-5) and even the season series between the clubs at two games apiece.

The game-winning sequence began when the Wave was awarded a free kick at midfield with 50 seconds remaining. Chris Morman chipped a ball into the left corner which bounced out to Howes at the edge of the penalty area. While shielding his defender, Howes turned and hit a right footed bouncer just inside the left post to give Milwaukee the lead and the subsequent victory.
