Philadelphia rookie Jeff Moore finally ended the team's scoring drought with a notch from Sloan to pull the KiXX back within two, 5-3, at 5:08 of the quarter; the goal was the first of Moore's professional indoor career. Defender Les Lunsford cut the team's deficit to one with his second goal of the season on an assist from teammate Damien Pottinger at 7:51.
