Philadelphia (Wednesday, April 21, 2010) - In partnership with Nemours, NBC10, Kendis, EwingCole and Contrast Photography, the Philadelphia KiXX officially announced its 2010 Summer Soccer Kamp schedule today. The KiXX, who will be entering its 15th season of play next year, are offering a variety of soccer programming that will be based on both age and skill level.
"With nearly 40 camps scheduled for this summer, we are able to reach many players to offer the unique experience of learning the game from our professional players and staff," KiXX Vice President Darcee' Roberts confirmed. "We hope to see all of those players who are looking to increase their skill set or those who are just learning the game at one of our many camp locations."
The Philadelphia KiXX Summer Soccer Kamps kick off in June and run through August at nearly 40 locations through Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. KiXX Kamps are designed to bring out the pro in your player and are for enthusiasts ages 4-18. From the first soccer experience to the skilled player, the 2010 program offers six different camp options: day, evening, tot, team, high or middle school preseason and goalkeeper-specific. Camps operate from 9-noon or 5-8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In addition to professional instruction from members of the Philadelphia KiXX, each participant in the summer camp program receives a certificate of participation, an official camp t-shirt and soccer ball, a voucher to the 2010-11 KiXX home opener, and additional amenities. KiXX Kamps start at only $135, and registration is now open!
Serving as KiXX Kamp Directors this summer will be former head coach Don D'Ambra and veteran defender Pat Morris. A few of the expected staff members include assistant coach Adam Bruckner and players Shawn Boney, David Castellanos, Kevin Coleman, Joe Di Buono, Nick Hovaker, Anthony Maher, Rey Martinez, Ptah Myers, Sandre Naumoski, Jeremy Ortiz, Angel Rivillo, Clay Roberts, Sanaldo and Steve Wacker. All members of the KiXX Kamp staff maintain a high level of expertise within the game of soccer, as well as being licensed coaches with CPR certification.
