Chicago, IL - The Wave headed to Chicago hoping to take the season series from the Storm and get closer to clinching the second seed in the MISL playoffs. They played the Storm even through 15 minutes, but six unanswered goals by Chicago in the second quarter were the difference in the end.

The game opened with a pair of power play scores in the first quarter. Semir Mesanovic and the Chicago Storm struck first with a goal at 10:19. Before the quarter would end, Marcelo Fontana scored his ninth goal in five games to knot the game at one. Defending Defensive Player of the Week, Matt Schmidt, assisted on Fontana's power play tally.

Through the first 15 minutes of the game, the teams were even at one each. In the game's second 15 minutes, the Storm pulled away with six unanswered goals. Lazo Alavanja, Mark Ughy, Matt Stewart, Gus Kartes, Novi and Andy Rosenband all found the net for Chicago.

Milwaukee made a run late in the third quarter with two goals in the final five minutes of the frame. Alen Osmanovic scored an unassisted goal at 10:13 and Giuliano Oliviero sent a Todd Dusosky pass into the goal at 12:19. The tallies made the score 7-3 in favor of Chicago heading into the fourth quarter.

The Wave looked to build on their third quarter momentum, but Storm goals at 6:55 and 9:44 of the final quarter gave the team a 9-3 advantage. Eduardo Sebrango added a late goal for Milwaukee, but Chicago went on to win their second straight game.
