The Six-Time Champion Milwaukee Wave took care of business on the road Sunday afternoon at The Family Arena with an impressive win against the St. Louis Ambush.
Final score: Milwaukee Wave 6, St. Louis Ambush 2.
"We played some very aggressive soccer today and never let off the gas," said Milwaukee Wave Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. "I'm very happy with how the guys are communicating and playing both sides of the ball. They've created such a great atmosphere, have a solid work ethic and are really taking care of each other out there. I'm very pleased."
Milwaukee Wave goals were scored by Max Ferdinand (Shootout), Marcio Leite (Angel Curiel), Chad Vandegriffe (Ricardinho Sobreira), Guilherme Veiga (Max Ferdinand), Angel Curiel (Guilherme Veiga), and Ian Bennett (Max Ferdinand)
"This has been a long and successful road trip," said Oliviero. "We are looking forward to getting back home and playing in front of our fans on Saturday."
The Milwaukee Wave return home Monday morning, will enjoy some downtime and will get back to business Tuesday to prepare for the Orlando SeaWolves Saturday afternoon at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
Kick-off is scheduled for 1:05pm.
