
Watertown Wolves in FHL Playoff Series this Weekend

The Watertown Wolves clinched the top seed in the Federal Hockey League with a win over the Berkshire Battalion on Sunday, March 8. They take on the Danbury Whalers in a best of three semi-final series that begins on the road in Danbury on Friday, March 13. The series will end in Watertown at 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 15 or, if needed, at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, March 16.
The games are sponsored by Jake's Lawn Care and Landscaping, Lupien Brothers Roofing and Construction, Monarch Photography, Natasha's Kiddie Shack, Nickelback Redemption, Time Warp Tavern, T.F. Wright & Sons Granite Foundry, and Whitesboro Plow Shop of Watertown.
"We are excited to bring post season hockey to our fans here in Watertown," said Brent Clarke, Watertown's head coach and director of hockey operations. Coach Clarke received the FHL's Head Coach Award, which he shares with Darin Lane of the Berkshire Battalion.
The FHL announced the 2014-2015 regular season award winners on Saturday.
Other Wolves receiving honors include Justin MacDonald for Regular Season MVP and Top Forward, Jo (Josselin) St Pierre as Top Goaltender and Chad Bennett for Second Team-All Star.
The Watertown Wolves Ownership Group consisting of Dr. Michael Wainberg, Stan Tibbles, Ron & Darlene London, Dr. Vincent & Jolie Cesario, and Cullen Lundy was named as the League Executives of the Year.
