
Watertown Shamrocks Sign Ryota Seki for 2026-27 Season

Watertown, SD - The Watertown Shamrocks have officially signed forward Ryota Seki to a tender agreement for next season.
"Ryota is a skilled, two way forward, with good hockey sense," said Watertown Head Coach and General Manager Casey Kirley. "His skating ability not only enhances his play making offensively, but also allows him to be a solid defender. We are very happy to have Ryota come play for us next season." Seki is from Hokkaido, Japan and is currently playing for Chuo University in his home country.
He has also represented the Japanese national team, most recently at the 2026 U20 World Championships where he was the team's leading set up man with four assists and leading point producer with five points in five games.
Seki is a 2006 born forward. He stands at 5'9", weighs 154 lbs, and is a left shot forward.
