Here are the Waterloo Black Hawks Players of the Week, as selected each Monday by the coaches and staff:
Milligan's Offensive Player of the Week - Nick Ebert
Ebert scored his first USHL goal Friday night and finished the weekend with three points, as many as any other Black Hawk from the games in Chicago and against Des Moines.
Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week - C.J. Motte
The Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week award went to Motte who made 32 saves while recording his first USHL shutout against the Buccaneers Saturday.
UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker - J.T. Brown
Brown's heads-up play just after an penalty kill set up a Jimmy Siers goal Saturday.
