Please find the Black Hawks Players of the Week listed below. These are chosen each Monday by the team's coaches and staff. ALSO, a Black Hawk player will win one of this week's USHL Player of the Week awards. More details on that announcement are coming later this afternoon. Black Hawks Players of the Week:

Mulligan's Offensive Player of the Week - Taylor Cammarata

Cammarata recorded a goal and three assists on the weekend. All three helpers came during Sunday's win versus the Des Moines Buccaneers. For the week, Cammarata was +2.

Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week - Scott MacDonald

If the best defense is a good offense, MacDonald is deserving of the Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week award. Two of his four goals during the weekend were scored shorthanded.

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker - Aaron Pearce

Leading Black Hawks forwards with a +5 rating, Pearce contributed two goals and an assist. Until he was held off the scoresheet Sunday, Pearce had recorded a goal in four consecutive games.

Convenient Care Heart of the Week - A.J. Michaelson

Michaelson had two multi-point games in three tries last week. He notched a pair of assists in Youngstown Thursday, then scored two goals versus Des Moines Sunday.
