
Washington Spirit Reclassifies Marissa Sheva, Places Jordan Baggett on 45-Day Disabled List

Washington, D.C. - The Washington Spirit has reclassified midfielder/forward Marissa Sheva as a short-term injury replacement, the club announced today.
Sheva, who signed with the Spirit last week as a COVID replacement player, will now act as a short-term replacement for the injured Jordan Baggett. Baggett has been in concussion protocol and will be put on the 45-day disabled list.
The Washington Spirit will take on the Chicago Red Stars in Bridgeview, Illinois tonight in the second match between the sides in a week. Following the game, the Spirit returns home to host the North Carolina Courage on Saturday night at Segra Field.
