
Washington Spirit Complete Trade with Angel City

Washington, D.C. - The Washington Spirit and Angel City have completed a trade that sends Mary Alice Vignola to the expansion side. In return, the Spirit will receive $30,000 in allocation money and allocated player protection in the expansion draft.
The Spirit signed Vignola from the Discovery List. Vignola graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2020 after a successful four-year career that saw her make the All-SEC her senior year. In 57 career games, she recorded 14 goals and 13 assists.
