Washington Spirit Announce 2019 Kit Partnership with GEICO

Boyds, Md. - The Washington Spirit are proud to announce the club's new kit partnership with GEICO.

The GEICO logo will be presented on the front of every first-team Washington Spirit jersey. In addition, GEICO will have a presence around Spirit game days with on-field signage and special appearances by the loveable GEICO Gecko.

Washington Spirit Ownership Group member Steve Baldwin said of the partnership "GEICO is not only the premier insurance brand in the nation, but it is also recognized as a premier brand in all of sports marketing. GEICO joining us elevates the status of our players and the women's game and I am delighted for the Spirit to become part of the GEICO family."

This GEICO partnership comes as a part of the tremendous response from the Washington D.C. area business community in supporting the growth of the Spirit and women's soccer. As the exclusive kit sponsor of the Washington Spirit, GEICO joins the Spirit in their dedication to the advancement of the women's game in the D.C. metro area and the United States.

The Washington Spirit join the Washington Mystics, Wizards, and Capital City Go-Go with jersey sponsorships with GEICO.
