Warthogs Announce 2008 Fan Fest

First chance to meet 2008 Warthogs players and staff set for Wednesday April 2 The Winston-Salem Warthogs, Advanced Class-A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, would like to invite everyone to the annual Fan Fest celebration at Ernie Shore Field Wednesday April 2. The event is free and provides the first opportunity to see and talk with the 2008 Warthogs players and staff. In addition, all the stadium games in the kids area will also be open, free of charge.
The event starts with Warthogs practice in the afternoon, followed by a meet-and-greet with the players and staff starting at 5 p.m. where fans will be permitted on the field to meet the players, take pictures and get autographs from the next stars on baseball's biggest stage.
There will also be an opportunity to register for priority seating at the new downtown ballpark as well as purchase tickets for the 2008 season. This is the best opportunity to meet your Warthogs baseball team, so bring out the family and get to know a little about the players you'll be cheering for this season!
