Oklahoma Warriors News Release

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma Warriors are 2024 Austin Hose Hoser Cup champions.

The Warriors claimed the title in the inaugural year for the in-season competition. The Hoser Cup rivalry series pitted Oklahoma against the Amarillo Wranglers and Odessa Jackalopes, three cities in which Austin Hose is located. The Warriors finished with 10 points, while Amarillo had 7 and Odessa had 6.

By virtue of the Wranglers losing to the Jackalopes on Friday and Saturday, Oklahoma knew of its championship before having to play Amarillo at Blazers Ice Centre on Sunday. The Warriors still took care of business and earned double-digit standings points with a 4-1 victory over the Wranglers.

The team, which trailed by six points on January 1, received hats and shirts from Austin Hose along with the Hoser Cup trophy on Sunday night. We thank Austin Hose for instituting this new competition and partnering with the Warriors this season.
