
Jackalopes Finish Six-Game Road Trip in Albuquerque this Weekend

The Odessa Jackalopes following back to back wins in Amarillo, will head to Albuquerque for a two-game set against the New Mexico Ice Wolves.
The Jackalopes had an impressive two games in Amarillo, winning 4-3 in OT on Friday and 4-0 on Saturday. It was Cam Dunn getting the game winner for the Jacks on Friday just eight seconds into overtime to secure the extra point. Saturday was a dominant performance for the Jackalopes, limiting the Wranglers to 18 shots on goal. Ivan Zhigalov would notch his 1st career NAHL shutout in the winning effort.
It was an impressive showing for the penalty kill and power play this weekend as well. The Jackalopes power play went 2/4 on the weekend, while the penalty kill was 2/2.
As for the Jackalopes' opponent the New Mexico Ice Wolves, they completed a weekend sweep as well on the road last weekend against the Corpus Christi IceRays. The Ice Wolves are 5-0-5 in their last 10 games, and have not lost a game in regulation since January 7th against the El Paso Rhinos.
Looking at the season series between these two squads. The Jackalopes are 2-3-0 against the Ice Wolves this season with three games remaining in the season series.
