
Warriors fall to Jr. Blues 4-3 in OT

Patrick Curry's goal at the 3:18 mark of OT paced the Springfield Jr. Blues to a victory over the Michigan Warriors in the opener of a 2-game weekend series.
The Warriors got two goals from Scott Cuthrell (4, 5) and T.J. Stuntz (4) as they had a 3-goal lead with 17 minutes to play in the 2nd Period. The Jr. Blues got goals from Trevor Stone (5), Mike Severson (4), Josh Lammon (4), and Curry (7) in OT.
Blues goaltender Stefanos Lekkas stopped 28 shots in the victory, while Dillon made 35 saves for the Warriors.
The two teams drop the puck in a rematch Saturday night in Springfield.
